Sissy and Flash

Sissy and Flash have lived their entire lives together. The siblings — Sissy, the female and Flash the male — are 11 years old which qualifies them as seniors but is by no means the end of their lives. Small dogs like these are apt to live into their late teens.

Their owner had to move to a nursing home and the two pups were fed by a neighbor until they could land in a shelter. The pair are very close and it is our hope that they will be adopted together. Sissy is the stronger, more active and interested in go-go-going. Flash (has the darker areas around his muzzle) needs some TLC to catch up. He arrived very skinny and lethargic and is starting to come around and make his presence known.

Both Sissy and Flash have been keeping their kennels clean, meaning they are no doubt housebroken. Both could use a good-quality grooming, but in the meantime they are hoping to catch more eyes and be whisked away by an adopter.

You can visit the dogs from noon - 3 pm Saturdays and Sundays, otherwise by appointment. We always recommend submitting an application (and a copy of recent vet records for your current pets if applicable) to info@aradopt.org.

Link to application: https://www.angelridgeanimalrescue.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Dog-Application.pdf
