She is an extremely sensitive and intuitive being, who looking for humans who understand her magic. She has so many spells to share with those that earn her trust. From her beautiful heart, to her colorful and delicate soul, Simone is a gift of grace, love and forgiveness. Gentle Protective Incredibly loyal Curious and playful Adores affection, and to cuddle Simone has learned how to be a dog after time healing in her wonderful foster home. She is an absolute lover of adventure, and nature. Loves walks and car rides, did someone say camping? Yes, please! Couches are for cuddling. She gently hides her face in a crevice to express her wants. Playful and rowdy with Ollie, her canine foster brother whom she adores. Likes to run around and chase, like a big red jungle cat. Startles easily but calms just as quickly. Someone once an upon a time wasn't kind to this queen. She needs reassurance to be comfortable- telling her what you’re doing helps prepare her emotionally. She is very smart and will follow your lead. She loves being close to her people, and craves contact. She is extremely food motivated- smart and easily trainable. Wants nothing more than to be with her humans, make them happy, enjoy the outdoors, and snacks— lots of snacks! Simone is looking for someone confident, savvy of the breed, caring and gentle with a soft heart who also has a balanced dog to help our beloved girl be her best self. Mission Compassion Paw Rescue's Adoption Policy

MCP is a Chicago foster based rescue. We focus on dogs who need extra advocacy, including: Pit bull-type dogs, senior animals, animals with medical or behavioral needs, and bonded pairs. We don’t view adoption as placing animals, we view it as welcoming new humans into our Pack. Because of this, our process is intentionally thoughtful and hands-on. Many approved applications ultimately result in us recommending a different dog with stronger match potential. This is part of our responsibility as advocates and something we are known and respected for. Our adoption process typically includes at least three meetings (often more) to ensure a strong, lasting match. These meetings allow time to build a relationship, communicate openly, and support a healthy transition. We are full disclosure, we know our animals well and are honest about their needs. We're hands-on from first meet-and-greet through decompression and beyond, and we are comfortable saying no at any point if the fit isn’t right. We look for organic connections and humans who understand that successful Forever relationships take time, patience, and commitment. Going slow matters to us, for our animals and for our humans. Important Adoption Expectations: All potential adopters are expected to meet their match at least three times with all household members participating in the process. Out-of-state adoptions may be considered for exceptional matches only. Multiple visits to the Chicagoland area are required. We do not ship animals. We do not allow: Gifting animals, surprise adoptions, or any adoptions without full household involvement. Adoption Fees: Dogs: $600 | Bonded pairs: $900 | Cats: $250, $325 for a pair We hold our animals and our humans close. Quality over quantity. Always.
