This tiny guy weighs only about 5.5 pounds and came to us through the city pound after being found as a stray. Sadly, no one came looking for him.<br/>Simon is currently settling into foster care and learning that people can be kind and trustworthy. Because he can be a little nippy when he feels unsure or scared, he would do best in a quieter home without young children. His foster family is working hard on house training, crate training, and helping him feel more comfortable socializing.<br/>When Simon arrived, his teeth were in very poor condition. He has since had a dental cleaning along with several tooth extractions and is feeling much better.<br/>As with many Yorkie mixes, Simon will need regular grooming every few months to keep his coat healthy and free from matting, so adopters should be prepared for those ongoing expenses.<br/>Simon may need a little extra patience and understanding, but underneath it all is a little dog who deserves safety, love, and a second chance. <br/>All medical work is completed prior to adoption including neuter shots worming flea treatment rabies shot kennel cough micro chip dental cleaning and vet examination. <br/>Adoption fee is $200 +tax with an approved application. <br/>The pre adoption application is available on the website www.prairiepawsrescue.com. <br/>Prairie Paws Rescue does not adopt on a first come basis but who will provide the best home suited to the pets needs
