Simon's Story

Simon is looking for a breed savvy home after he arrived as a stray and was not claimed. Simon was quite unsure at first and took some time to trust us but has warmed up and we are seeing his friendly and affectionate nature. Shiba's are not a breed that are as open and outgoing as most and tend to bond with their family and can be aloof with strangers. We will not adopt Simon to a first time dog owner. Currently we would not place him in a home with kids as we are still getting to know him.

Simon was a champ at the vet and was just neutered and will soon also be getting a dental. We found that Simon loves to play fetch and is great about bringing the ball back. He's shown some interest in meeting other dogs and his dog assessment will be completed once he's healed from his neuter.

Simon will require a few visits from potential owners to ensure he's comfortable and can establish a connection with his new family.

We will update his bio as we learn more.
