Simba's Story

9 months old. 68lbs
Simba and his adopted sister were returns through no fault of their own. Their owners moved and didn't want to do the work to take their babies with them. Simba is great with other dogs and can be shy around people. He doesn't understand why he's at the shelter he left when he was a tiny puppy. He's appears to be mostly house broke. He would love to join your family, leave the shelter, and never come back.

If you are interested in adopting this pet please complete our pre-adoption application at: https://nckyanimalshelter.com/adoption-application/
We will contact you once we have received your application. An approved application is required before adoption. There are no same-day adoptions. While all pets are listed as spayed/neutered, they may not actually be altered until after tagged for adoption. The price of adoption covers spay/neuter surgery, heartworm testing, vaccines and microchipping. If you have any immediate questions please contact our adoption office at 502-348-1885.
