Ideal Home: Adults and children who are respectful & sturdy (only because of Simba's size and playfulness) and used to large dogs; other dogs possible pending meet & greet.

Fun Fact: Simba's canine shelter BFF is Darla, who he ironically looks a lot like! Staff calls them "Big Darla and Little Darla." We don't often have the chance, but we're always happy to adopt out in pairs;)

If you consider yourself a "big-dog person," then you've met Simba before: tongue out, toy in mouth, adventure in the eyes (in Simba's case, one clear blue and the other soft brown); fluffy, hilarious, loving. Also in classic big-dog style, Simba is nowhere near 100 percent aware of how very big he is. He's full of personality with plenty of love to give. It's guaranteed that he will light up your face with smiles, joy, and laughter every day. He's a great walker, loves to learn new things, and is extremely toy and food motivated. He's had adventures with shelter volunteers that have proven him to be excellent in the car and to not mind being crated for short periods. This delightful overgrown puppy is always up for a new adventure, playtime, or just hanging out and being silly. An active single, couple, or family would be a perfect match for him.
