Sigh (Fostered in Springfield) Pit Bull Terrier Mix Papillion, NE

Hi, my name is Sigh and I have been looking for my forever home for over a year.
I used to have a home and due to my pawrents separating I found myself at a shelter. I couldn't understand why, if I had done nothing wrong, why? It was so hard on me, I used to sleep on a comfy bed and leaving my home expose to other dogs and loud noises made me very sad and anxious, that's why I prefer to be the only fur child but I love kids :)
I was taken in for training and that changed my life! I love learning and my favorite sport is agility. I know sit, down, stay, come, give me paw, turn around, roll over, find it, and during my free time I love sleeping on a warm human lap and giving kisses. Oh! Did I say I'm kennel trained?
I know my dream home is out there, I just need you to see the big heart I have, I'd love to play with kids, and could learn to live with cats and I'd need a 6 foot fenced yard. Or I could live with someone who wants walks and snuggles .. . It's all up to you!



Thanks to our amazing Angel Sponsors, our long term pups now come with reduced adoption fees, alleviating financial road blocks for some, and making it even easier to open your heart and home to a furry friend. The adoption fee is $100 plus tax and covers age appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter.

Applications are typically worked in time stamp order based on date/time of submission. If you have other
dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee. It may save you a trip to bring them with you
when you visit, if you are certain you want to adopt a new family member.
We are currently operating by appointment only due to a shortage of personnel. If you want to
meet this pet, please go to www.townandcountryhumanesociety.org and click Adopt. Then scroll down to
Online Application and select Dog Application. Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted
to set up a time to meet at the shelter or the foster home. The introduction between you and the pet will be
supervised by one of the dog counselors or the foster. If all goes well, you can adopt during the same visit. If
you have a dog or dogs currently, a meet and greet with the dog is also required but can be done at the same
time.
