Sienna's Story

Sienna is a young girl who came into rescue from a shelter with her sister Zena. Sienna is such a sweet girl who ended up in a shelter when her family moved and no longer could take care of her. Her world has been turned upside down but she is not looking back and is ready to be loved and cherished. Sienna loves everyone she meets and could benefit from having a male calm companion in the home who is calm and reassuring. She is potty trained and is a snuggler. She loves to lean into you for pets and loves the attention. If you think you can give Sienna her happily ever after, reach out to us today.

CHAAMP follows the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior (AVSAB). They recommend that only reward-based training methods should be used for dog training, including the treatment of behavior problems. https://avsab.org/resources/position-statements/ We are a proud member of the Pet Professional Guild. https://petprofessionalguild.com/ There are many ways to train your dog. Yet the only one that results in a healthier, emotionally stronger relationship between you and your pet is through rewards-based training (communication). Training is supposed to be fun for you and your dog. Rescue dogs need to build their confidence and you can help them. We want our furry companion to trust us and know that they have a choice to collaborate with us. Some need time to come out of their shell and process their feelings. They will appreciate that you are considering their feelings! Soon they learn good things happen when he/she collaborates with you.
