Sidney 's Story

Hi, I’m Sidney, a tiny female, 6.5 lb poodle, about 5 years old, with a big story to tell. I didn’t have the best start in life, but I’m slowly learning that people can be kind and love feels really good. My previous life was churning out puppies and once I was no longer useful to them I was given up. I’m still a little shy and cautious, but each day I’m gaining more confidence. I had 22 teeth pulled so my mouth is feeling so much better!

I’ve just started to explore the backyard—it’s so exciting! I especially love watching (and sometimes chasing!) the bunnies that hop by. Getting gentle pets is still new to me, but I’m discovering how comforting a quiet cuddle can be. I’m also working on going outside to potty; I’m eager to please and getting better every day.

I’m searching for a calm, patient home with no children or loud chaos—just someone kind who will let me bloom at my own pace. With love and understanding, I know I’ll become the loyal little companion I was meant to be.

I'm fostered in Cheyenne, Wyoming and heading in for a dental this week so I'll be all spruced up and ready for my forever home.
