Coco Patterdale Terrier / Fell Terrier & Pit Bull Terrier Mix Springdale, AR

Coco just had her first professional photo shoo in February 2024, and she loved it! Oh, how she shined! Once she warmed up to the photographer, she really just wanted to climb into her lap for cuddles. Coco is just the sweetest girl.

Coco was found on the streets of Little Rock. She was injured, HW+ and extremely scared of people. Coco had been badly mistreated. She was terrified of having anything around her neck (collar, leash). This petite dog had been through so much. After spending time with a loving and patient foster, she has her "braves" and is ready for a forever home.

Coco takes a little while to adjust to and trust new people. She has done well with her foster mom's 10 year old granddaughter but younger (louder) children scares her a bit-so probably only older children for her (8+ years old).

Coco likes having a fenced yard to play but is not high energy. She could adapt to an apartment life with daily leash walks. Coco gets along with other dogs. Although she prefers dogs her own size or smaller but she still does good with laidback larger dogs.

Coco would do fine as an only dog OR with a sibling. Coco is house and crate trained. She only stays in her crate at night or when her foster mom is gone. She is not a chewer or destroyer, not even her toys. She is totally trustworthy to be loose in the house (AMAZING).

Coco enjoys playing fetch with her stuffed toys which she will retrieve but not always bring back. She also enjoys tug of war. She LOVES to go on car rides and is starting to enjoy going to new places. Coco will need a patient owner who will continue to help her become a confident dog. She LOVES to snuggle up in your lap. She has NOT been around cats.

Coco is still going through HW treatment, but you would never know it. The cost of this treatment is completely covered by the rescue. Coco's HW treatment entails giving her a monthly chewable pill (easy-peasy).
