SHORTY- Needs a foster/forever home! American Bulldog Birmingham, MI

Shorty is a very handsome3-4 year old American Bulldog who was very stressed at a local animal control. We were asked to taken him into our rescue and we did without hesitation. He weighs approx 80#. Shorty does not realize how big and strong he is. This big man is a big love bug!!! He loves his butt/legs scratched and his belly rubbed. He would make a good snuggle buddy to watch TV with or just hang out. Good with other dogs his size after a slow introduction. NO SMALL DOGS OR CATS!!!! Children 12 years old and older. His forever home is required to have a totally enclosed physically fenced yard. He is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, on monthly heartworm preventative as well as house and crate trained. Shorty is very ready to start the next chapter of his life with a very loving family who will take him on fun adventures and treat him like a king!!

All dogs we rescue stay with us until they find their forever homes. A home visit is required to ensure our dogs go to a safe environment and our dog gets along with your dog(s) and/or cat(s). We require all our dogs over the age of 1 year to attend 1 obedience class (class is a 6 week session) outside the home. You must live within 1 hour of Birmingham, MI to adopt one of our dogs. No out of state or outside the U.S. adoptions or fosters. Shorty's adoption fee is $300.
