Shirley's Story
Laverne & Shirley are 1 year old sisters ready for their time in the spotlight. These small, playful girls are Sheltie mixes, most likely with a Chihuahua and another Terrier. Both girls weigh under 15# and are now spayed, microchipped and current on their vaccinations. These two besties love to play with toys and run around the yard and are so friendly and affectionate that they will make a wonderful addition to any lucky family.

Laverne is the larger of the two and looks more Terrier in her appearance. She is less confident than Shirley but still friendly and playful. She takes a bit more time to warm up to new people and really needs a companion dog to feel comfortable.

Shirley is the smaller of the girls and has a more Chihuahua like appearance. Small and mighty but oh so much personality with this one. Definitely the braver of the two and more confident. Would also benefit from having another dog in the home but is solid enough to be the only pet as well.

These dogs are housebroken but little dog equals little bladder and so refreshers in housetraining will be needed like most shelter dogs. They enjoy their walks but don't go too far and would love nothing more than to be your little purse dog for life.

They do really well with each other and would probably do well with other dogs similar to their size. larger dogs might be overwhelming for them. Cats would probably be ok as well.

It is not required to adopt Laverne & Shirley together, but we would love to see them stay together if possible. If interested in adopting one or both of the girls, please complete an application online at www.rbhspets.org

ADOPTION FEE: $400.00 + tax (per dog)

Applications are available online at www.rbhspets.org.
