Meet Shirley
Let us introduce our little miracle girl Shirley!
Shirley was found several weeks ago so matted and full of twigs, cockle burrs, debris and nastiness that it was impossible to assess her condition until she was sedated and shaved. Underneath all of that, this sweet little soul emerged!
Due to her prolonged exposure to the elements and the cockle burrs that were imbedded in her hair and damaging her eyes, she is now sight impaired. She also appears to be a little older but let us tell you, that does not slow her down from exploring her yard and finding the perfect place to potty!
Shirley loves to be near you and follows her foster Mom all over the house - she wants to be by her side so care must be taken not to trip over her!
Shirley has thrived in her foster home but will need a calm environment without loud noise or fast movements, therefore a family with young or active children would not be suitable.
She is now spayed, up to date on shots and microchipped. One of her favorite things is to sit in your lap and take naps!!
