Shiloh's Story

Hi, I’m Shiloh. I’m a 1.5-year-old Yorkie mix weighing about 13 lbs, and I came into rescue with my puppies. Once they were old enough to be on their own, I transitioned beautifully—and pretty quickly showed that I’m a very social, loving little girl. I do amazing with other dogs and actually feel most comfortable when I have canine friends around me. Not long after being separated from my puppies, I was already seeking out a new dog friend to hang out with, because I really enjoy companionship.

I also do very well with kids and smaller dogs, including puppies. I have a gentle, friendly nature and fit in nicely with a variety of personalities. I’m also doing well with my house manners—as long as I’m let out regularly, I keep my space clean and settle nicely in my kennel. I’m still learning routines, but I’m responsive and improving every day. Like any young dog, if I’m not given enough breaks, I may have an accident, but consistency helps me succeed.

Overall, I’m a sweet, adaptable girl who thrives in a home where I have companionship and a steady routine. I love being with other dogs, I enjoy people, and I’m happiest when I’m included in the daily rhythm of a home. I am fully vetted, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and current on preventatives, and I’m ready to find my forever family.

Please apply to adopt me here:
https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/63adcb00cb896f59b74103d2/69e8fde25e473b046206f773

———

If interested, please do not submit an inquiry through Petfinder.
