Shiloh's Story

Meet Shiloh!
This pretty lady is a 2 and a half year old spayed Great Pyrenees/Anatolian mix. Se is the definition of gentle giant, and is so incredibly sweet. We've quickly fallen in love, and we're sure you will too!
Shiloh was surrendered to us alongside her brother, Cooper. They were brought to us through no real fault of their own, as they just weren't a good fit for their previous owner. Their owner had been looking for livestock guardian dogs, and met a guy that was rehoming this pair. Cooper and Shiloh were raised as house dogs, though, so they didn't have any training to protect livestock. They are really great dogs, but they're just too used to being pampered! Shiloh did well with the livestock on the farm, but wasn't chasing off the predators like her owner needed. Now, she's here for a fresh start!
Shiloh is a very large girl, currently weighing in at 92 pounds. Please be mindful of this if considering adopting her, as she is going to need plenty of space to accommodate her big size! Shiloh gets along great with other dogs and kids, but she hasn't been around many children that we know of. We always recommend a meet and greet with the whole family before adopting to make sure it's a good fit. The only medical issue we know of with Shiloh is that she's allergic to food with chicken in it, so her owner will just need to be careful when selecting food and treats.
Shiloh is such a sweet girl, and she really deserves a home where she can be spoiled again! She is housebroken and knows a few commands, and has been been started on her first round of vaccinations. She is now ready to go to her forever home - so stop by and meet her today! Shiloh and her brother do not have to be adopted out together, but if you are interested in the pair, there is a discount to adopt two animals at once.
