Meet Shih Tzu - Harvey

Harvey is a super sweet 9-year-old (birthday on 3/15/15) 15 lb. Shih Tzu who is brand new to a life of freedom and ready to be spoiled! His adoption fee is $300 or $250 for an applicant 65+.

Harvey visited the vet on 3/22, he has cataracts in both eyes, worse on one side. He bumps into a lot of things in his foster home, so we'd guess that he's about 75% vision impaired. He is neutered, microchipped, got his teeth cleaned and got all of his shots.

His tail never stops wagging. He navigates new spaces pretty cautiously and once he hears your voice, he can find you pretty easily.

A house with minimal stairs, or ones that can be blocked off, would be ideal. Harvey also seems to be more comfortable when he's close to a person or another dog.

When he thinks he's all alone, he barks. Wearing a thunder shirt has helped. He just needs a lap to sit on. :)
