Sherry's Story

Hi, I'm Sherry. 🐾

I might be a little shy when we first meet, but if you give me a little time, I promise my sweet side will start to shine through. I'm a pretty mellow girl who loves quiet company, cozy naps, and just being near my people. I'm fully potty trained too, so I already know how to be a respectful houseguest.

I'm not really the loud, center-of-attention type. I'd much rather be your calm companion, your couch cuddle buddy, and your loyal best friend. Once I feel safe and loved, you'll see just how gentle and affectionate I really am.

If you're looking for a soft-hearted girl to share peaceful days and lots of cuddles with, I think we might be the perfect match. 🤍

Sherry is Heartworm positive and is waiting for a negative test result which can take 2-9 months after treatment. Her treatment has been completed and she will need a Heartworm test every 2 months to follow up on her treatment progress until she has a negative result. During these months, you will need to make sure her heart rate is not elevated due to high energy play or exercise. Sherry will also need continued use of monthly Heartworm prevention going forward. These medical needs will be the responsibility of the adopter.

--------------------------------------------
All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.

Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.

Adoption Fee - $400

To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/
