Sherman (VA)

Sherman (aka Shermie or Sherm) is a handsome little rat terrier mix with a heart full of love. Rescued from a busy shelter where he was too nervous to shine, he's now thriving in foster care in Northern Virginia and showing his true, gentle spirit.<br/><br/>About 2–3 years-old and 15 lbs., Sherman is sweet, sensitive, and playful. He may need a little time to warm up to new people, but once he trusts you, he becomes a deeply loyal companion who loves being by your side. He enjoys other small dogs and has<br/><br/>an<br/><br/>easygoing play style. Sherman would do well with a confident canine buddy — or as an only pup soaking up all the attention.<br/><br/>He'd really thrive in a home where someone is around most of the day to take him on walks, car rides, and playdates with his small dog friends.<br/><br/>Sherman is progressing nicely with house-training and does well on a consistent schedule.<br/>He has gotten along well with cats, kids and dogs of all sizes.
