Sherman is 1-2 years old. We were told he is a Bernese Mountain Dog mix. We cannot guarantee any breed mixes. He is neutered and still on exercise restrictions. He is current on vaccinations, and heartworm tested negative. He is a friendly guy who seems to like people of all ages. He acts as if he would like a dog friend, but we haven't had him with any dogs at the shelter yet. We are unsure about cats. We do require meet and greets with dogs already in the home. -Cats are same day adoptions. -Dogs are NOT same day adoptions. -We require home visits with the dogs. This means you take the dog home for about a week to ensure that dog is a good fit for your life. Adoptions can be finalized after the home visit is complete. We understand some people are not local, and we can work around that to accommodate the needs of all parties involved. -Meet and greets are required for any dog adoptions where there is already a dog in the home. -CAT ADOPTIONS REQUIRE CARRIERS TO LEAVE THE BUILDING! -DOG ADOPTIONS REQUIRE A LEASH TO LEAVE THE BUILDING!
