Sherman and Patsy were pulled out of a backyard breeder situation in San Bernardino.<br/><br/>They were living outside. In triple digit heat.<br/><br/>A good Samaritan stepped in and got them out, but by the time they made it to us, it was clear how much had been ignored.<br/><br/>Sherman came to us with a grade 3 heart murmur, painful skin infections, and ears that needed immediate attention. Like so many dogs used and then neglected, he had been left without even the most basic care.<br/><br/>But even then, he was gentle. Sweet. Quietly trusting.<br/><br/>Now Sherman is fully recovered and thriving in foster care.<br/><br/>His personality has completely come out. He is funny, affectionate, and genuinely one of the friendliest dogs you’ll meet.
