Sherlock Cane Corso Mix Roswell, GA

Sherlock is a gorgeous Cane Corso mix who is 3 years old and weighs 70 lbs. He is a sweet, gentle, timid boy who seems more comfortable outdoors than indoors with people so we believe he was most likely kept as an outside dog or was fending for himself for a while before being picked up as a stray. Thankfully, BarkVille was able to place him with a wonderful & patient foster family to help him work through his shyness around people. Sherlock likes other dogs, is good with kids, and is working on his leash manners & basic commands. He is a low energy boy looking for a home with a fenced yard, maybe another dog, and experienced owners who can help him build trust, feel safe and gain confidence. Sherlock is HW+ and is currently available for a foster to adopt situation until his HW treatment is complete and he is medically cleared for adoption. If you are not familiar with Heartworm disease, dogs get it from mosquitos and it is not contagious. It is easily prevented & highly treatable, but requires extended rest during treatment. BarkVille will cover all of Sherlock's medical expenses while he's being fostered.
