SHERLOCK BONES Is a friendly sweetheart, and he tries so hard to get attention, while being housed with another, larger dog, that thinks he should get all of the attention for himself. The important thing to note here is that he has been successfully paired with another dog, and that will make it easier for him to get adopted. SHERLOCK Is listed as a Mountain Cur/Retriever mix. He is 2 to 3 years of age, weighs 49 pounds and has beautiful red markings with white accents. Thanks to a special partnership between a UT department, and the Cumberland County Animal Shelter, SHERLOCK was neutered on Wednesday, February 21. As a result, he will be able to go home the same day that he is adopted! Serious adopters are encouraged to see ALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared! That includes taking your own dog collar and leash with you to the adoption appointment in case you do decide to adopt SHERLOCK. Even better, take a dog crate with you to that appointment. No animal should be allowed to run freely in any vehicle. Especially an animal that you have just adopted! Safety first!
