Shelly is a 4 1/2 yr old BC mix girl. Good with women and most small dogs. Not a fan of larger breed dogs and men she doesn't know. She is very smart but would do best in a home where not a lot of unknown men come into the home as she does feel the need to protect from them.
Shelly loves to snuggle with people and is nicely trained, while she is crate trained, crate is not required with her but is recommended. She is trained for the basic commands and walks wonderfully on leash.
Shelly is a smart, loving girl who deserves a home to call her own. She had a very rough past but isn't holding a grudge and would just like a family of her own to love.

A adoption application must be filled out to meet with any of our foster dogs. All animals are kept in foster homes so there is no shelter for you to visit animal. Please go to http://new2urescue.org if you would like to meet the foster animal or learn more.
All our dogs have been spayed/neutered; treated for worms; heartworm tested (if age appropriate); treated for fleas/ticks; microchip; and examined by veterinarian and given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed.
Adoption fees:
Puppy to 1 yr of age: $275 to $350
1 yr to 6 yrs of age: $250 -$300
6 yrs to 8 yrs of age: $200
Over 9 yrs of age: Adoption fee varies
*NOTE* Purebreds and Designer breeds, regardless of age are $325 to $400
