Though she does not care to have them in her face. Shelby is just beginning to accept affection from her foster family—while she may still flinch when touched, she’s making steady progress and is learning to lean into the comfort instead of avoiding it. Because she can be sensitive to quick movements, a home without young children would be best.<br/><br/>Shelby is house-trained in her foster home and walks nicely on a leash. She’s still figuring out household manners (like keeping her feet off the counters and leaving the garbage alone), but she’s incredibly smart, eager to learn, and picks things up quickly. Her biggest motivator? Food!
