Shelby came to the shelter when her owner lost their home. Together they lived for awhile in temporary housing, but when her owner finally found placement he had to make the difficult decision to surrender Shelby as the apartment would not allow him to have a dog. Shelby gets very attached to her people pretty quickly. She is nervous and shy with new people. When you come to visit, she will probably hide outside and bark. However, once you get to know her, she won't leave your side. She loves to play in the yard and to cuddle. <br/><br/>Shelby needs a home with patience to help her overcome her fears. The shelter is a lot for her, but we know once she gets into a home, she is going to blossom into a wonderful pup.
