Meet Shelby-adopted

Shelby is a 10 year old female Chihuahua that was dropped off at a kill shelter in Texas as the family was no longer able to keep her. The family said Shelby has been around other dogs (big dogs) kids and cats and does well with them when properly introduced.
Shelby tested positive for heartworm which is transmitted through mosquitos. Her treatment lasted several months and treatment is completed. The first treatment wasn't successful, so she is doing her 2nd treatment. Shelby is on a monthly heartworm preventative too.
She is currently in a foster home with other dogs and cats and only one adult.
All medical work completed prior to adoption including spay shots worming kennel cough rabies shot flea treatment heartworm test and treatment micro chip and vet exam.
Adoption fee is $150 + tax with an approved application.
