Sheba's Story

Coming in via the dog warden, Sheba spent way too much time crated and is relishing the grounds and vistas that she now is experiencing. A wee bit tentative, she walks cautiously but very well on leash and is comfortable enough to stop and take encouraging treats gently. Her teeth indicate she is around 4 years old, but neglect could play a role in the amount of tartar on her molars.

Sheba seems to be fine with the people she has met, but in close confines, she shows her distaste for some of the dogs and perhaps should be the only dog in a home.

Beautiful, stately and showing that she has had some training, Sheba would be a great dog for people who love shepherds.

You can visit the dogs from noon - 3 pm Saturdays and Sundays, otherwise by appointment. We always recommend submitting an application (and a copy of recent vet records for your current pets if applicable) to info@aradopt.org.

Link to application: https://www.angelridgeanimalrescue.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Dog-Application.pdf
