She-Ra - ECAS's Story

Meet She-Ra, Princess of Plushies!

Believe it or not, this beauty, this body, and this smile are even more breathtaking in person! With my kind eyes and gentle soul, I enchant every person I meet. I'm a majestic 103lb Mastiff mix. That means big paws but an even bigger heart. I may be labeled a "senior" on paper since I am 7 years old but trust me, I have aged beautifully (must be the treats I'm given ).

Any part of the day when I'm with a volunteer pal is my favorite part of the day. I patiently wait in my kennel until it's finally my turn to soak in some sunshine, belly rubs, and TLC. On the way out of the shelter I'll often grab a plushie to take with me on walks - sometimes I even bury them (these are my prized possessions after all)! My volunteer pals think it's pretty aww-dorable.

I'm a BIG lover of back rubs, belly rubs, and cuddles. Sometimes I forget I'm not a lap dog but watch me try to be. Basically, I can't get enough of anything involving a hooman! A princess can't live without her loyal subjects, right? I'm happy to be hanging out right beside them taking in the fresh air and views. In between those cuddles, I've mastered "sit," and "down," and I'm working on leash manners. Sometimes I don't know my own strength, but I know that with consistency, I will become the elegant queen I'm destined to be. I enjoy training and love learning new things, especially with yummy treats. (I'm a big fan of ALL treats!)

My volunteer friends will tell you how sweet I am and it's clear I'm all about getting loved on and giving that love right back! It's safe to say my heart matches my size but I can be selective about which dogs I share my love with. Some I like and some I don't so if you have a doggo at home, please bring them in for a supervised, on-leash meet-and-greet to see if we'd be a good match.

So, what do you say? Do you have room in your heart to add some BIG love? Are you ready for a princess with a gentle heart to help fill your life with sunshine (no matter the weather), endless cuddles, and a companion who will always be by your side? I know our happily ever after is just a visit away.

Her adoption fee is $35, plus licensing (if applicable). Her spay surgery has been sponsored by our friends at the Tri-Valley Animal Rescue!

She-Ra qualifies for Senior Sunday! Adopt her on a Sunday and we'll waive her adoption fee!

## See video of She-Ra at the end of the photo gallery! ##
TVAR.org/find-your-pet-adopt/dogs-puppies/

She-Ra's Shelter ID# is 88279. She is an approximately 7-year-old, black, Mastiff mix. She currently weighs around 103 lbs. She has already been vaccinated, spayed and microchipped and is ready to go to her new home! She-Ra is located in kennel C-2.

** Age shown is an estimate only **

THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING If you are interested, please call the East County Animal Shelter at 925-803-7040 to see if this dog is still available.
