Sharon's Story

Meet Sharon

Sharon comes from the “Plain of Sharon” in the Bible — a place known for beauty, blooming, and restoration... and honestly, her name could not fit her more perfectly.

This stunning girl appears to possibly be an Australian Shepherd or English Springer Spaniel, and Great Pyrenees mix — and she truly looks almost magical in person. She has the most beautiful tall frame, a long silky coat that feels unbelievably soft, and the most breathtaking liver-and-white coloring.

Sharon is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines and preventions, and more than ready to finally have the loving home she has waited so long for.

Despite sitting in the shelter for far too long, Sharon has remained one of the sweetest, most loving dogs. She gets along wonderfully with every single dog she has met, absolutely loves to run and play, and has such a gentle and affectionate personality. She's wonderful around children and has done well around cats while on leash, showing very little interest. She's also extremely easy to redirect and correct.

Sharon is also clean in her crate and settles in beautifully with routine and structure.

There is just something so special about this girl. The way she moves, her soft flowing coat, her sweet eyes — she's truly one of those dogs that makes people stop and stare.

After waiting so long to be noticed, Sharon deserves a home where she will finally be cherished the way she always should have been.

Fill out an adoption application to have her join your family. Her $450 application fee covers medical care to include vaccines, spay, microchip, foster care and transportation from Louisiana to NY.
