Sharkie's Story
Sharkie showed up in the front yard of a good Samaritan with her little friend, Roy. Roy found a forever home rather quickly; Sharkie is still waiting.
This beautiful girl has the sweetest soul. She is pretty laid back, but still loves to play tug of war and chew on a good toy.
She can be a bit picky about her dog friends, but it is worth it to see if she and another dog would get along ok.... especially male dogs.
Did you see Sharkie's smile?! She has the biggest smile ever! And bonus! Sharkie hardly ever barks. She likes her crate, too!
While she does not currently live with children, she has done wonderfully at adoption events when kids come by to say hello. She loves people and loves attention.
Sharkie has made great improvement with her leash manners. She doesn't mind water or car rides. When it was hot, she would stand in the sprinkler and liked her baths in the kiddie pool. She loves car rides too!
Sharkie is not a huge fan of sharing her food with the other dogs, but sharing her toys is okay with her most of the time. (A girl has a right to change her mind, right?) Sharing her food with people? Not a problem at all!!
Her itty bitty legs cause her to wobble when using stairs, but she is ok with them. Honestly, this little cutie is a bit of a clutz! But it's one of the things that makes her adorable and loveable. Sharkie loves being up close to her people. Sharkie knows sit and stay. And an occassionnal bite of steak?! Sharkie says, "yes, please, and thank you!"

Increasingly, we are doing FOSTER TO ADOPT options!
That’s where you and puppers make sure you’re a good fit for one another before signing on “the dotted line”….. it’s a win-win for everyone! Just ask your adoption counselor about how this works. If you are interested in adopting this or another POPP dog, please complete our short adoption questionnaire found at: https://www.popptricities.org/adopt/adoption-questionnaire-canine/

If you have any questions. please E-mail us at dogsadopt@popptricities.org.

Our puppy or dog adoption fee of $200 includes a lovable, non-judgmental canine companion who has been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped prior to adoption.
Your adoption fee helps support POPP and our spay/neuter efforts in the community to end overpopulation of cats and dogs.
