Shane - Free at Last

SHANE is interviewing FOSTERS in Ontario! He is free at last! <br/><br/>This beautiful boy lived in a dog box in a small outdoor kennel for the past 6 years in Ontario, all alone. He was never let out. He was never hunted and only had bugs for entertainment. Attention was in short supply. The high point of his day was getting food and water. His skin and ears itched because he was allergic to his food. <br/><br/>His owner was quite old though, and finally Shane had his lucky day. His kennel door was opened. He was whisked away into a caring home with a big fenced yard and lush grass to roll in! OH JOY!!!<br/><br/>Shane loves to run in big circles and we know why! After 6 years of living in a small kennel, he has a lot of pent-up need for exercise. He is learning what toys are and just recently grabbed one as it was being shaken before him. He loves treats. And now with good food, his allergies are nearly gone. He has his vaccines and will be neutered soon. In October, Shane will be ready for a new foster or adopter. <br/><br/>Shane is 8 years old, 19 kg, ignores other dogs, and is shy with new humans (cats unknown). The first 2 years of his life are unknown. He lives in a nice indoor-outdoor kennel currently. His leash skills need work.
