Shane-ADOPTED!'s Story

Shane is one of our "honorary GSDs" - a extra large Aussie -this striking boy was just too sweet to pass up.

We went to the shelter to pull a GSD (Tex/Moto) and were taking some photos for other breed rescue groups. When we passed by Shane's run, the shelter employee noted that he had been there several months and was now "out of time". No one had wanted to adopt this gorgeous dog because he had heartworms.

Without hesitation, we told the employee that Shane was coming home with us.

Shane was successfully treated for heartworms and now has a very loving home with another Aussie.
