Our Mission

Good Shepherd Rescue is a 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1999. We focus on rescue, rehabilitation & rehoming German Shepherd Dogs. All dogs in our program are in private foster homes. We provide medical care for gravely ill / injured dogs, spay / neuter, microchip, vaccinations, deworm, heartworm test & heartworm treat if applicable. 25% of our adoptions are with repeat families each year.

Download, complete & email the application: https://bit.ly/GSRApplication SUBMIT VET RECORDS with your application to expedite an interview. NOTE: . Meet & greets are ONLY setup with pre-approved adopters. . We do NOT ship dogs. You must come to DFW to meet dogs & drive the dog home if adopted . All dogs are spayed / neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, dewormed, heartworm tested, heartworm treated if positive, put on heartworm preventative if negative & more if other conditions are present & identified.
