Shanandoah is a ridiculously cute 11 year-old Shar Pei that lives for snacks, a sunny day, a little kindness, and chasing the ball.

Shanandoah has a bright smile, eyes as warm ‘n sweet as melted caramel, a crazy dry sense of humor, and a love that will last through all time. Lil Shenandoah sure loves her people but would appreciate being the only dog. She’s just not that into other dogs (sorry guys!).

Shanandoah is all the stuff that old sappy love songs are written about, as she saunters by in her beautiful cream-colored coat tossing you a wink over her shoulder. A truer heart there has never been.

Adopting a rescued animal is a lifetime commitment! There is a non-refundable adoption fee ($325 for adult dogs, $400 for puppies) which helps us defer the cost of spay/neutering, vaccinations and microchipping.
