Meet Shadow

Loveable, sweet, gentle, playful, cuddly, smart, trained, and obedient are all the words that describe our foster Shadow, but he does have to trust you first.
Shadow was found as a stray, and he does have his demons. He is very distrustful of new humans, but we have been working with him, and now, on his visits out into the community and people, he is much more tolerant of his surroundings and crowds.
But the good thing is that he gets along with most other dogs if introduced properly.
He has triggers that set off his distrustful side, but the good news is, we have found enrichments, like puzzles, walks, and chew bones, that completely take his mind off his fears and let him become the loveable dog he can be.
If you are patient and understanding and want the best friend and companion you'll ever have, Shadow is the dog for you.
