Hi everyone I’m shadow! I’m about 3 years old, and my foster mom says I’m a beautiful husky mix. I had a bit of a rough start to life, but I’m learning that most people are really nice and I can trust them. I am a bit nervous when I meet new dogs, but warm up very quickly once I realize that you’re a friend! I really love being part of a family, I have foster siblings that I love playing with. We run outside and have wrestling matches in the house! I even have a puppy foster brother who I love so so much! My foster mom says I live up to my name, I don’t really know what that means but she always says it when I’m following her from room to room. She also says I have the most beautiful smile! I’m a pretty quiet girl, I don’t bark too much and I greet visitors very nicely when they come over. I’m looking for a forever family that will help me continue to grow and learn with more training, socialization and general good girl stuff! The adoption fee is $600 and includes spay/neuter (dogs over 6 months), vaccines, heartworm test (dogs over 6 months), deworming, Flea and tick prevention and microchip. Please visit www.paws-united.com to fill out an application.
**For puppies under 6 months a $200 spay/neuter rebate will be given with proof of spay/neuter certificate signed by a vet, if they have not been done prior to adoption.**
**Please note we DO NOT adopt our dogs as outdoor/farm dogs. These dogs are coming to us as stray, roaming or dogs that have lived a life tied to a chain. Our goal is to bring them in the house off the chain and give them a pampered indoor dogs lifestyle. Unless otherwise stated we will not even consider a home that has intentions of leaving our dogs outdoors or tied to a chain**
***We do require every applicant to provide a vet reference and we do follow up with your vet. If you do not currently have a vet as you have no pets, we strongly encourage you to do your research and contact vets to make sure they are accepting new patients. You must have a vet in place before bringing a new dog home. You will be required to give your vet permission to release information to us, we also require two personal references as well that will be contacted. We have policy and procedure in place while screening homes. If a family refuses any step in the process they will not qualify for adoption. We are not currently doing adoptions across the boarder.***
