8 months old<br/>6 pounds<br/><br/>Selena is a friendly, young female Chihuahua who enjoys people and other dogs. She is sweet and fun and all around a very lovely girl. She is very smart and eager to please. She walks on lead, comes when she is called and knows good manners. She will be very easy to train all the basic commands sit, stay, wait etc. Selena loves to cuddle. She feels the cold and quick to seek refuge on a lap, under blankets or next to you on a sofa cushion. She does not fancy being in her crate at night...she would much prefer to be next to you. She is perfect for an older adult or a small family. She loves, loves, loves walks and will proudly lead you to any dog park or hiking trail. She is very friendly so you will need to keep an eye on her around unfamiliar large dogs and when in public. She thinks everyone is her friend! This little girl is bright, energetic and demands attention. An owner should be kind, patient, and enjoy being cuddled.

Small Chance Rescue's Adoption Policy

In order to be considered as an adopter from Small Chance Rescue you must: • Be 21 years of age or older; • Be able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment and proper care for a pet for the entire life of that animal; • Have the knowledge and consent of your landlord; • Have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in household; • Understand that children's age restriction will be based on their exposure to and experience with this specific breed; • Understand that SCR has the right to either deny or approve your adoption application without explanation. Please note that the Small Chance Rescue Group has the following policies in place for adopters: • Dogs and cats in the adoptive home must be spayed/neutered and current on vaccinations and the dogs must be on monthly heartworm prevention (some medical situations excepted - we will call your veterinary reference); • Applications from the Austin area receive priority in the case of multiple approved applicants for a dog. Applications from outside of the Austin area must have a positive veterinary reference and come pick up the dog in person.
