Seiko's Story

Seiko is an absolute love bug with people and is great with kids. He can get extra excited when kids are running around or playing with balls, so a family willing to help him learn appropriate excitement levels would be ideal.

He is also wonderful with other dogs! He has attended daycare and boarding at Camp Bow Wow numerous times and has received great reports every visit. At the dog park, he typically gives other dogs their space until he gets comfortable with them, then enjoys playing.

What Seiko is looking for:
* A fenced yard where he can safely run and play
* An active family who will continue providing plenty of exercise
* Someone patient who can work on his leash manners
* A cat-free home — Seiko has never been aggressive toward the resident cat, but he constantly wants to chase him, which has become stressful for the cat
* A family committed to keeping potentially dangerous items picked up

Seiko is crate trained and will happily go into his crate on his own throughout the day. He has no food aggression, isn’t picky about his food, takes treats nicely, and has no bite history.
He does pull on leash and can bark when he gets excited. He can also be a little possessive of toys, although he has played with other dogs around toys without showing aggression.
One very important quirk: Seiko LOVES to eat things he shouldn’t! Socks, underwear, washcloths and other small items need to be kept completely out of reach. He will also try to pick up and chew small pieces of paper during walks, so his person needs to be proactive and keep an eye on him. He is located in the Lehigh Valley, PA.
