Meet Seal! <br/><br/>Seal is a 3-year-old, 39 lb girl who came to the shelter as a stray. When she first arrived, she was nervous and unsure of the world around her. With time, patience, and plenty of encouragement, she's blossomed into a completely different dog.<br/><br/>Recently, Seal got to spend the day away from the shelter and she absolutely shined. She walked beautifully on leash, enjoyed swimming, played with toys, took treats gently, and even snoozed on the ride back after a fun day out.<br/><br/>Once she's comfortable, Seal is incredibly affectionate and loves curling up beside her people. She already knows sit, is treat motivated, and has done well interacting with other dogs at the shelter, where she tends to have a lower-energy play style.<br/><br/>Because she's still a little timid with new people and environments, Seal would do best in a home without small children. Given a little patience, she rewards you with so much love and trust.<br/><br/>Watching Seal gain confidence has been one of the most rewarding transformations we've seen. Now she's ready for the next step: a family who can continue helping her thrive.<br/><br/>As always, we strongly recommend that resident dogs meet any new potential canine family members. If bringing a resident dog for a dog to dog test, please bring proof of Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines.<br/><br/>To meet/adopt, visit us in Greensboro, NC from 12-4pm any day except Tuesdays; no appointment needed.
