Scrappy's Story

Scrappy was humanely trapped along with his companion Hazel. He is young but has had rough start in life leading him to be suspicious of new people, since humans have let him down most of his life. He has warmed up to Carol, our rescue founder, since arriving at WAR so we believe that his best chance is to find a quiet foster home that would be willing to be patient with him, not push him and allow him to learn at his own pace that not all humans are bad. He needs a quiet foster home without young children, but idally with other well adjusted dogs that can teach him to be part of a household.
