Congratulations—you've apparently just discovered today's Most Valuable Treasure.<br/><br/>At about a year and a half old and 68 pounds, Scout lives every single day like somebody announced recess and forgot to tell him it was supposed to end. His tail is almost always wagging. His smile is almost always on. And if you're within about thirty feet of him, Scout has probably already decided you're one of his favorite people.<br/><br/>The funny part? He doesn't believe strangers exist. Delivery driver? New friend.<br/>Neighbor? New friend. The person walking through the park who accidentally made eye contact? Obviously a new friend.<br/><br/>Scout greets the world with the confidence of someone who's convinced everyone woke up hoping they'd get to meet him today. And honestly... he's not entirely wrong.<br/><br/>He was found abandoned as a tiny puppy near his foster's home, but you'd never know it from the way he sees the world. Somewhere along the way, Scout decided life was still pretty wonderful, people were worth trusting, and every new day deserved to be greeted with a wagging tail. That's just who he is.<br/><br/>He's playful, affectionate and goofy in the most lovable way possible. Whether he's chasing a tennis ball, proudly parading around with his latest stick like he just won an Olympic gold medal, or dropping a toy in your lap for "just one more throw," Scout has a way of making ordinary afternoons feel a whole lot more fun.<br/><br/>He's also wonderfully dog friendly and loves having canine buddies to wrestle and romp around with. Big dogs, little dogs—Scout is happy to make new friends. That said, he's confident enough that he'd also be perfectly content soaking up all the attention as your one and only.<br/><br/>And this handsome goofball has brains to match the personality. Scout is fully potty trained, kennel trained, knows how to use a dog door, walks nicely on leash with just an occasional reminder, behaves beautifully in stores, and is a rock star at the vet. He already knows "sit" and "down," and he's the kind of dog who seems to learn something new every time you work with him.<br/><br/>Like every young dog, Scout is still polishing a few things. Sometimes he gets so excited to see his favorite people that his feet forget they're supposed to stay on the ground. Honestly...That's a pretty short list. He's not destructive. He's not looking for creative ways to escape the backyard. He doesn't bolt through open doors. <br/><br/>He simply wants to be part of whatever you're doing. Morning walks? He's in. Weekend camping trips? Absolutely. Throwing the same tennis ball 437 times because apparently it never gets old? Scout thinks that sounds like the greatest day ever.<br/><br/>The best dogs have a way of sneaking into your life without you realizing how much room they're about to take up.<br/><br/>One day they're proudly carrying a stick twice their size across your backyard...<br/>...and before you know it, they're in every family photo, every road trip, every lazy Sunday afternoon, and every story that starts with, "Remember when Scout..."<br/><br/>Scout isn't just looking for a home. He's looking for his people.
