Scout's Story

Meet Scout, a handsome Australian Shepherd mix with a striking coat is ready to meet his new family. He enjoys long leash walks and is very social, always friendly with everyone. He will sit when asked and loves to be petted and get belly rubs. An energetic puppy, Scout loves to play with other dogs and will retrieve a ball and bring it back to you to throw again. He will need an active family and a home with a yard so he can safely have lots of outside play time. Scout is about 7-months-old, weighs about 29 pounds (4/15/26) and is probably an Australian Shepherd mix with a red merle coat. Any family lucky enough to adopt Scout will have a fun, smart, fantastic new family member. You can apply on line at www.hsvawl.org by completing the Adoption Application on the home page.
