SCOUT

Scout is estimated to be 1 year old and he weighs 50 lbs. Scout is some sort of doodle but we don't know the mix. He came to us from a shelter in Kentucky where he had been picked up as a stray and never claimed. Scout is a social guy who seems to get along with everyone. He has not been tested with small children though. He is well behaved in his crate, very curious when introduced to new situations/people and loves to play with other dogs and toys. Scout was good for his grooming but seems to be afraid of being grabbed around his neck so we are working on that. Since he is very treat motivated training is easy with him. Scout understands down time and is happy to keep himself occupied with a chew bone but he also would like some daily exercise and someone who can spend time with him teaching him about life. I feel like he didn't have much of that in his previous home because everything seems so new to him. But who knows.... he's not talking. Great companion for another dog and/or someone looking for a 4 legged buddy.
