He is a sweet, playful puppy who loves people and enjoys making<br/>new friends. Whether he's exploring the yard, playing with other dogs, or soaking up attention<br/>from his humans, Scotty is happiest when he's part of the action.<br/><br/>Like any young puppy, Scotty is still learning about the world around him. He is working on crate training and<br/>doing well with potty training, though he will need continued guidance and patience as he<br/>adjusts to a new routine. He is also working on his leash manners and can get excited when it's<br/>time for an adventure. Scotty is eager to please, food motivated, and enjoys learning new<br/>things, making training a rewarding experience.<br/><br/>Having grown up in a foster environment with other dogs, Scotty has developed into a social<br/>and confident puppy. He enjoys playing with canine friends and would likely do well in a home<br/>with another dog, though it is not required. He loves attention from people and is always ready<br/>for cuddles after a day of play.<br/><br/>Scotty is expected to be a very large dog when fully grown, but right now he is still a goofy<br/>puppy with a big heart and an even bigger future ahead of him. The adoption fee is up to the discretion of Mutt Life Dog Rescue of Wisconsin.<br/><br/>NOTE: THE BREED LISTED FOR EACH DOG IS OUR BEST GUESS WITH THE HELP OF OUR VETERINARIANS. Apply: Fill out adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents.<br/><br/>2.)Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email.<br/><br/>3.)Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: after approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5 day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure itas the right fit.<br/><br/>4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue.<br/><br/>5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process we conduct a home visit either in person or via zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have.<br/><br/>6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: for dogs who are not fixed at the time of adoption, we will reimburse $125 for the procedure once we receive proof of spay/neuter. We recommend going to HAWS Snip Clinic in Waukesha, WI or Wisconsin Community Veterinarian Center in Madison, WI for the most affordable option. If you would like to go through your veterinarian or another location, that works too!<br/><br/>**Note: Adoptions are not considered final until the dog is neutered/spayed if applicable**
