We assumed he was dumped and spent over a week finding refuge between the Canal Winchester pool, the neighborhood behind the new Columbus Metro library in Canal Winchester and the Goddard School over by the Kroger store. Thanks to the help of some Good Samaritan eyes, we were able to coax him to safety with lots of Vienna sausages and it’s been all uphill from there. He is a fairly reserved but still social guy who loves to play ball, enjoys the company of other dogs, is great on leash and in the car and is crate trained and housebroken. We estimate Scoot is a Lab Rottweiler mix, about 2yrs old, MN 60lbs. All animals are current at time of adoption but in some cases a booster series is required or a vaccine cannot be given due to age and cannot be completed prior to adoption<br/><br/>Our adoptable animals come to us from various sources, the most common being from an animal shelter who is unable to handle their physical or mental needs in the shelter setting but believe with the appropriate care, they can become adoptable.
