Scooby's Story
Scooby is a 1.5 year old 60 lb neutered male Boxer mix. According to his first family, he is cat and child friendly. His current foster mom says he is friendly with people and dogs once he warms up to them.
He is medium energy: happy to run and play or nap on the couch.
Scooby was unfortunately a surrender to a high kill shelter. A member of his former family said he had been abused and starved by another family member. At the shelter he was sweet but shy with people and dogs. We pulled him before he was set to be euthanized for overpopulation. In foster he has gained a lot of confidence and blossomed into the sweet playful dog we know him to be. He still takes a little time to warm up to new people and dogs, but with his history, we can’t fault him for that.
