SAWYER's Story

MEET SAWYER!! This adorable 8 year old CHUG (Chiweenie/Pug blend) was found as a stray way out in the country and no one came for him so he was on the way to a rural shelter! Sawyer is a great little guy with an adorable snaggletooth!! He is friendly and sweet and weighs about 18lbs. Sawyer is just looking for somebody to love! (Jefferson Airplane song comes to mind!). He enjoys being with his person! He is a velcro dog and watching a movie with his favorite person is on his top favorite things to do list!! He is great with people and other dogs and cats!! He plays with other dogs and can also be very laid back and chill!!! He is fabulous with kids! Sawyer deserves a wonderful and safe home!! Sawyer is housetrained! Sawyer takes daily medication for seizures that are controlled with the medication and we are hoping this doesn't deter anyone from giving him a chance!!! Want to meet this little gem? We schedule private meet and greets with approved adopters. Please email us for an application. We are a foster based program and we all work full time and are all volunteers. We DO NOT do out-of-state adoptions due to required home/fence checks and we prefer to do proper dog introductions with other dogs to make sure it is a good fit before adopting.
