Sasha is a friendly 1 1/2 year old Sheltie/Border Collie mix whose 29 lbs. are packed with lots of energy, focus and intelligence!<br/><br/>From Sasha's foster parents....<br/>"We love her as if she were ours, and giving her up will be so hard. My little grandchildren were excited all day today, not because Granny was coming over but because Sasha was coming with her. When we got there Sasha was thrilled to see them. She isn't just good with children, she seeks them out and loves being with them!<br/>Great with kids, terrible with cats, super athletic, super charged, intelligent and eager to please. <br/>She follows me everywhere, and I mean everywhere. She was waiting for me outside the shower door yesterday.<br/><br/>The top 10 great things about this fabulous dog....(according to foster mom) <br/>1.She is not afraid of thunder<br/>2.She is not afraid of vacuums or loud noises<br/>3.She is good about being bathed<br/>4.She loves to be brushed<br/>5.She loves car rides and travels well<br/>6.She barks, but not too much<br/>7.She wants to be with her person all the time<br/>8.She goes into her crate to wait for meals or bedtime treat<br/>9.She is quiet all night in her crate<br/>10. If we have a possible match, you would then have a telephone interview, speak to the foster mom, have a home visit by one of our volunteers and vet reference check. Once you have been approved for adoption you can then meet the dog at his foster home. At that time, if you would like to have him as a new family member, you would complete the adoption paperwork and take him home.
