This large brindle boy of about 7-9 years has been waiting for his turn to go up for adoption and he has been patiently waiting to find a home! Sarge is a strong guy (well, let’s face it… he is a big boy ) and would love a strong handler or someone with big breed experience to take him in. He is slobbery, and will need plenty of washcloths to wipe up that drool we all know and love about some of these breeds.
Sarge does know sit but often takes his time to do so. He also can be a bit demanding when he knows he will get a treat and talk to let you know he can’t wait for a long time! He can be quite cuddly and will gaze into your eyes letting you know he would like some pets and love. Sarge has been spotted playing with a rope toy in the meet room having a great time so he definitely has that toy play side to him.
He met some other shelter dogs and is not a fan of males but prefers very chilled out females. Or, maybe he would just like to live his senior years in a home as the only spoiled pooch.
Sarge would be happy going to short walks, sniffing in the yard, and hanging with his human pal enjoying bonding time.
If you are a large breed lover, come on down and meet this guy. A small kennel is no way for this guy to spend his time…..
