Meet Sarah
Personality: snuggler, energetic, outgoing, playful, rambunctious, affectionate, easygoing, adventurous, and goofy/funny.
"I do my hair toss, check my nails. Baby how you feelin'? Feelin' good as heck! Once you meet Super Star Sarah, you'll be singing her personal anthem, too. This 9-month-old cutie is the life of the party who wants to talk to all the guests! She is looking for a forever family that matches her energy, goofiness, and love of snuggling.
Sarah is making progress on house training and does well in her crate, particularly overnight or when her foster parents are working. True to form, she has lots of puppy energy that she loves to get out by playing with her friends - dog and human alike.
Sarah is one smart pup and has already mastered the words "sit and "1,2,3 while on walks. After working hard on her studies, Sarah would love to go for long walks, play with challenging food puzzles, or have a dance party with you. RSVP soon to meet this little socialite!

City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model).
Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us.
Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis.
Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.
We also update our Facebook page daily with new cats and dogs.
